Greetings Today’s Healthy Minute family!
Today is one of those amazingly special days in my life. Late on April 21, 2012, Amazon pushed the print of Soul Thief – we were optioned up to Kindle for the early release.
You know, April 21 has a real special significance for me. On that day, eight years ago, I finally walked Taryn out of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for her first trip home, after being in the hospital for a month. She had open heart surgery when she was born (72 hours old) to correct transposition of the great arteries – 100% fatal if it’s not corrected. Two failed lungs, failed kidney, sepsis, and a bleed in her brain later, April 21 came along and we took the kiddo home. She’s a normal 2nd grader now, a little delicate, really smart and probably the most loving human you’ll ever meet.
April 22 is MyBri’s birthday, hubster extraordinaire. Today is our “off” day to enjoy together.
So Lucian, Katherine, Michael and Sophia await your imagination. This book is featured in the NYC BEA in June, and is “supposed” to be that next great title everyone wants to read. I just hope that you love these folks as much as I do. While I made them up, they’re pretty real to me – and I hope that you enjoy them.
